Courses

Courses/workshops/small groups

Courses can be based on the specific requirements of the group. The amount of participants per session can be from 2-20. Courses are normally structured over a 5-10 week period with a duration of 1 hour. There would be development and progression of techniques during that period.

Workshops

These are taster sessions normally carried out before doing a course or just as a one off session. Surplus amount of techniques are taught during this 1 ½ - 2 hour session but there is limited time for practicing.

Small groups

These can be made up from friends, families, colleagues etc. The structure of the session/course can be tailor made and take place wherever convenient.

Session content/description

The course/workshop will consist of; combination kicks and punches, being attacked from behind, sideways or with a knife, hair, arm and clothes grabbing and a few extras if we have time. There will also be periods of using your kicks, punches, elbows and knees against pads.
The groups are kept small to ensure maximum benefit and that you will leave knowing how to look after yourself a lot better.

Travel (see map)

Underground - Oxford Circus, Piccadilly, Bond Street or Green Park.The best route is; Turn of Regent Street [near Burberrys] into New Burlington Street. When you get to the end you will see a police station in front of you. At the side of the station is Boyle Street. Walk up there until you see the Old Burlington pub on the corner [don't go in]. At the side of the pub in a yellow brick building, is where we are situated.

Venue facilities

Showers, drinking water, changing area, punch bag, gym equipment etc

Payments

A special introductory fee of £15 to be paid before commencement of the session.

Session commencement

Please arrive slightly early to fill in necessary forms and to get changed.

Attire

Tracksuit bottoms or shorts with a t-shirt and trainers.

Equipment

All necessary equipment will be supplied.

Cancellations

If you are unable to attend, please give at least 48 hours notice. Failing to do so will incur an extra £10 charge fee if you are to attend another workshop/course.
